Thank you for confirming. I used to see less than 1 minute for the previous synch of displays, hence my concern it took so long now.

I noticed that my monthly database synching between displays takes far longer after the 10 upgrade. Is this normal behavior? It currently takes close to 5 minutes for the other display to get synchronized. Thx

You need a switch that opens when there is enough pitot pressure, this can not be done electronically. the 327 does not accept a standard NMEA, other than from Garmin. http://www.vansairforce.com/community/showthread.php?t=15795&highlight=gtx+327+ALT&page=2 if it does, I never got it to work...

FYI on process and status- The expected process is that you mail us your current screen, we upgrade it to a touch screen, and you get back a screen that drops right in with all your settings. We will likely not be able to send you a touch screen before you send us back your non-touch screen...

I completely agree on #1. The flight plan really took a few steps back with loading and what is now required. I thought the old version was right on, with importing right on the spot and the first waypoint becoming active. This easier (pre v10) version needs to be reinstituted in the next patch...

Generally when entering an untowered airport I use the 10 mile predictor to call in location to traffic and plan entering, knowing how many minutes before reaching that point. In my plane I get there much faster than I expect so it serves a benefit on landing.

I finally had a chance to get out and test all the new features. I was able to get the VSR to work when I had it as a D-> but it did the same for me (---)  when I returned back home on a loaded flightplan. It never worked until I did a direct to the final waypoint, than it worked again.

I second it being higher, like 30kts. I definitely think the removal of the terrain while less than this speed is an excellent added feature. Maybe it can fit into the "development" currently in progress or we can make a change in the .dfg? thanks!

What may be even better is users send in the steps for each respective feature (autopilot and page number if more info is needed) and it all can get put into a quick reference by the end users. Maybe someone even does it and posts it on this thread.

Last year, a week before heading out on a long cross country I discovered one display was under the SB and the other hung at 70%, same scenario. Unfortunately, at the time they did not have the option provided to you and I needed to send the display back to be repaired, which took 2 weeks versus...

I heard back that some are seeing a need for a extra button press of D-> to activate a flightplan. I never needed to press Direct to start the flightplan in the past and question why that would now be considered current behavior. Can you clarify if anything in loading a flightplan has changed...
