HDX software 15.3.3 and Vertical Power VPX

Mark, this is from another post — “Thanks for bringing me back to earth on this. I was just having a brain fart. I forgot you had to scroll and push the button, for some reason I was thinking the touch screen controlled it. Thanks for the quick replies.” As Dynon has posted, there is a...

    EGT readings

Like Marien I use the AMP brand blade (spade) connectors with no issues now that I also use a spray product eg Inox on them & a good quality crimper.

    ADS-B 472 for France

Not really ;) not divided, just mistaken & I think GalinHdz was accidentally confusing the 470 & 472. The 470 is 978 MHz only & the 472 is both 978 & 1090 frequencies. From the Dynon site http://dynonavionics.com/ I have a 472 & it works here & like Europe we only have 1090 MHz. :)

    ADS-B 472 for France

Actually the 472 works in the other ‘world’ including France etc as they use 1090 MHz like we do, the US is the odd man out here ;D. My 472, using 1090 only, works here in OZ ;)

    GPS redundancy for SV-261?

I know of an installation just like that - SV 2020 for ADSB out & a wire from the Gps to the Txpdr 261 ready to connect if wanted/needed. IF the HDX screen went black but you still have power then the Txpdr will work & be controllable from #2 HDX or if only a single SV fitted then the Txpdr will...

HDX 15.3.3 touchscreen failure with VP-X

Just as a data point ... did you turn the knob to ‘highlight’ the circuit before touching the screen ? I had the same issue with my HDX/VPX combo until I did that [ch128580]

    D180 EGT reading -99F

That’s usually caused by a disconnect in the probe wires ( not a probe failure in your case) or a bad terminal connection.

    Dynon D180 OAT readout shows 64 C

Is the probe getting cowl outlet warm air from the engine ? A picture of the probes exact location in relation to the cowl could help ;)

    High RPM

Usually the PPR is 1/4, 1/2 or total number of cylinders, ie in your case (RV6A - Lycoming ?) it's a PPR of 2 or 1.

    Video Install

I've installed the MAX-VIZ X1 into a 9 without any real issues that weren't self induced ;) You just need the video adaptor & connect the camera video cable into the yellow plug. (on the adaptor - don't connect to the large one at the end of it) - works well !! Also connect directly into the...

    EMS-D120 cannot adjust clock

Generally you can tie in up to 4 devices to the 1 serial output from your gps. No ‘splitter’ needed. HTH [ch128578]

    EMS-D120 cannot adjust clock

You can connect the avmap to the D120 serial input - that will give you utc after Avmap ‘locks on’ to satellites, then adjust local time to suit. Next time you power up the system will show the correct time. The Avmap will always then give time to the Dynon. Ps - do you have the D120 backup...

Can 101693-000 Be Used For Fuel

"Fuel Injection /Coolant/Fluid pressure" Sorry to labour the point however as above why would Fuel injection not include fuel pressure &, more specifically, Fluid pressure not include all the normal engine fluid pressures? ;)

Can 101693-000 Be Used For Fuel

Kavlico Fuel Pressure Sensor - Rotax 912 iS

You need the capacitance to voltage converter.

    ADSB 472

I’m guessing Dynon will announce when they are ready to do that, probably working on the best solution that helps everyone - they know that many are waiting for a solution.[ch128521]

New Dynon system for my plane

    2. No reason why you can't use the existing sensor kit for the rotax, may need minor changes like Map sensor but that is unlikely, IMO it's virtually the same kit except for fuel injection & turbo. 3. Transponder will work after all it's built in the UK & all their equipment is EASA capable. 4...

    Dynon Skyview Autopilot Issues

Engage the roll servo, hold the control stick & have someone try to move an aileron & , if it moves, that will confirm if the shear screw is broken. Be aware that there still could be some 'drag' or resistance caused by an edge of the broken screw.
