IF you wired as described then the wires are reversed Trig pin 5 goes to SV Yellow/Orange Trig pin 6 goes to SV Yellow/Violet Jake J

My comment about the "Keep alive' (pin2) still applies, the install manual has not been updated. The Dynon cable you mentioned may not have the correct coloured wires in the relevant locations - if that is the case it may be better to call out the pin numbers & describe what you want to...

If the system was recently wired or used for the first time in Class C then maybe it's a wiring issue. If that's the case then the first & least costly thing to do is check the wiring - I've not had a problem with the converters :) Jake J

Do not connect the 'keep alive' wire, it's not to be used anymore. The green/yellow wire is for the 'ground' for a warning light if you desire to have one. Jake J

If you can see a socket in pin 2 then it's there, I'd use a DMM to check anyway, also check your EMS Sensor Input Mapping see page 7-64 Rev V of the Install Manual. Jake J

I know the aircraft type as I've done installation work on them. Is the antenna cable black or brown ? I'll send you a PM. Jake J

Does it happen every time you PTT ? What aircraft type , composite or aluminium etc ? Where is the Com antenna in relation to the screen ? What type of antenna cable, Eg RG58, RG400 ? Jake J

Just install vers 5.6 -  The beautiful thing about Dynon is you can just update with the latest without worrying about all the others you may not have installed previously  ;) Jake J

Steve What aircraf type ? Where is the EDC located in the airframe ? Did you use a handheld compass to find the most magnetically benign location ? Jake J

Steve Thank you for that well explained info re computer & Usb downloads, I now have a better understanding of what happens & why sometimes downloads can take so long - we don't have SA here but the same info applies to a lot of other downloading situations, thanks again. :) Jake J
