Heading is all you will have with that unit - Alt Hold is a totally independent function & does not need or have any GPS input.

As it outputs NMEA 0183 & needs a 5 Volt power input, why don't you connect it ? Will not hurt the Dynon . However if you want it to 'drive' an autopilot to follow a GOTO or Fltplan then you're out of luck - that's better served using a Gps with database IMO.

What have you configured P24/25 to do?

Just use a 10K Ohm ( it’s a turn potentiometer) resistor in the Dynon audio output wire & adjust the volume with it 😉

To little info here, it would help if you listed all the circumstances & what troubleshooting you have done.;)

I'm having the same issue - it's a problem with the NMEA datastream from the SV, IMO. Most of the time i can see it trying to work & have had it work properly on 1 short flight.

150.200.250 - where did you get that info? What you need to do is set up the PPR ( Pulse Per Revolution) which should be 2 in your case.

No worries - you will still get rpm indication changes regardless ;)

in the case of 2 x P-Mags you connect to D37 pin 32or 33 as you only need to connect 1 P-Mag as it outputs rpm regardless of whether it’s working or not. NO resistors used at all. HTH.

GPS 250 only works with Skyview systems & GPS 251 (discontinued) was for the legacy units. The baud rates are very different too.

1. disable sec alt in VPX menu 2. PM = Personal Message me the LPW VPX (Load Planning Worksheet). 3. I can see there are other 'issues' that need to be fixed. 4. what brand (Manufacturer) of Alternator & Voltage regulator are you using. 5. There are a few other items that need fixing here.

Asad - Thanks for the pictures, it helps a lot. Ok- you have 2 x alternators with remote regulators, correct ? Sec Alt is shown on the 'list' - it should be controlled by a switch that has both alternator control input, Alt or Alt 2, (never both on at the same time). Are both alternators...

If you have an external regulator & the PPS then wire the volt sense wire as per page 11 of the PPS manual ( Rev F1 April 2022).

You can move the widgets side to side & up or down, just select them in the menu list, press accept & change style/size etc as you wish. Just read the screen & carry out the required actions to finish.
