The Dynon 'panels' that have dual 9 pin dsub connectors - they both have parallel connections internally therefore are the (same as electrical or other double adaptors) therefore you can 'daisy chain' them from one panel to another. Dynon also have cable SPL (splitters) for that purpose if you...
.....on the floor with charger -
Maybe it's the overhead lights also ? or some other electrical device - testing comms etc inside buildings can give real issues.
Kurt, That's correct -Ive just got my Glasair, with dual P-Mags, going again after 11 months due Superior (not so) crank AD, I have 30 hrs without ant tach/hobbs times issues.

Glasair IIS FT 2700hrs & still going strong;)
DB connections to devices eg EFIS, EMS & ADAHRS etc are much better/easier now with the newer black backshells supplied with most Dynon equipment. They have much bigger ends on the thumbscrews to give more 'leverage'. If those connectors come off inflight then they were not secured properly...
Mr Jones - IMO you're overthinking it, an aircraft has many other points of failure that have the potential to worry me more.
BTW - the network cable has 2 x data pairs for redundancy in case 1 goes mia. I'd be concentrating more on the security of the joining of the 9 pin dsub connectors -...
Yes, 1 x ground goes directly to airframe ground regardless - if more sensor grounds are needed than what's available in the supplied harness then it's acceptable to split a ground.

Happens in GA aircraft too - had a Navajo in doing a fuel cal & bought 8 new Pma'd float sensors - everyone of them had to be 'adjusted' to make them work linearly correctly

I understand your pain however the Dynon probes do not have short lives in my experience as I've...
