    Too deep  :) OAT input via any of the capable screens is all that's needed whether it's a GP or dedicated input.

    Bob, as much as I hate the use of ferrites why don't you just buy 2 X ferrites (clamp on type) for the coax & add 1 to each antenna cable as close to the antenna as you can get & report the results ? IMO it's worth a try & a cheap easy solution if it works. Some years ago a kit maker found...

    The VHF Comms frequencies are in the 118.00 to 136.00 range anything outside that is for other uses eg in the case of the lower ones they arefor VOR, LOC & ILS etc. So as you have just a Com you will not be able to receive the ATIS frequencies you mentioned.

    THAT was how I read it too, the NETWORK cable is missing & if that is the case then you would not see the EMS on the list after doing a system config.

    my input was due to the OP's last sentence  ----    "I think I am not getting anything from the EMS 220, all my sensors are directly connected, I do get voltage reading though from somewhere.. ;)

    The only connection for EMS data from the EMS module to Skyview is via the network cable (9 pin dsub) are you saying the sensors are connected directly to Skyview ?  IF so then make up (or buy) a network cable (it's in the manual) , female to female 9 pin dsub connectors pins in parallel but...

    Any of their common grounds will do, it's not necessary to ground exactly as per book in this case.
