EMS 120 connecting to Rotec elecronic ignition

Borge I haven't had to use the tach output from the Rotec however I just connected the Dynon rpm wire directly to one of the alternator wires (using a 1 amp fuse of course).  if there are some rpm instability problems then add a 10 KoHm resistor in series to that wire. HTH Jake J

    EGT Problems

Jay I have made several posts re the Egt/Cht connector issues - I say yet AGAIN, most issues were/are with the terminal on the probe side ( not manufactured by Dynon) & some are with the crimping done by the builder.   The push on connectors themselves are ok but not as good as amp.   I think...

    FlightDEK-180: Erratic RPM on a Jabiru 3300

YtC Try an 100K ohm resistor (yeah, I know the manual doesn't call for one but it won't hurt) , this has worked for me in most Jabby installs ;) Jake J

    Pitch servo pushrod safety wire

Larrynew Go with the nylock nut, it's standard practice for most bolts in shear applications & autopilot pushrod to bellcranks as well. Jake J

    Roll servo sensitivity

Steve May I suggest you tweak the airframe up first ie get it rigged and trimmed (skid ball in centre at normal cruise speed) so that the a/pilot doesn't have to work against airframe loads, then adjust the settings as required - this applies to all autopilots  ;) Jake J

Randall Mounting the SV at an angle like that works just fine - mounts can be done in all sorts of manner, you just need to work a design that suits you. Jake J
