    What GalinHDZ said. This is an radio frequency interference problem. Shield and signal grounds can also create this problem. From a wire routing standpoint, make sure the CHT and EGT wires are separated from the com antenna cables by as much distance as possible, preferably 3” or more.

    I do not believe that you can adjust the OBS when navigating via GPS. Under GPS navigation, the OBS is irrelevant unless using the function that simulates a VOR. Some here could explain that functionality better.

    Rv6 fuel level calibration max at 14 gallons

    Typical for the RV6. The float is at the wing root and hits the top of the tank at about 14-15 gallons. The rest of the fuel is out the wing which is higher than the root. It’s a float location problem by the tank design, not Dynon.

    Since the new forum has been up, it seems as Dynon isn’t monitoring it as closely as they did in earlier years. Best to call customer support. Maybe they will get the idea that a presence on the forum is more cost effective than answering individual phone calls.

    INDENTing Issue

    One other point. If your Dynon transponder is used for ADS-B out, it should be left in ALT for all operations, including on the ground. The system will determine the air/ ground state and transmit it appropriately.

    KX155 COMM/NAV W/ GS

    The KX155 doesn’t have either ARINC 429 or serial port, only analog outputs to drive the OBS and CDI. I’m curious how it could have worked since Skyview doesn’t have an analog inputs for Nav.
