    Source of DSub spares.

It is not clear if you are looking for the pins or the socket but if looking for the pins, the link provided by rvator51 has what you need. Here is the direct link to the standard female D-sub pin. http://www.bandc.aero/d-subsocket.aspx Aircraft Spruce and others carry the same product. The...

Dynon Skyview ADSB Upgrade from GPS250 to GPS2020

Steve, Both antennas use the same wiring so you can so what you want and cut, splice, configure, test and go fly. You might also consider keeping the GPS-250 as a backup to the 2020 antenna. The wiring is a little more complicated, depending on the number of screens you have. If you have one...

    Chart resolution seams

Not an answer to your question but if you have a radio that is tied into the SV GPS, you should be able to pull up the frequencies there. This works with the Dynon radio in my RV-7A. You essentially scroll through the list of nearest airports until the one of interest is listed. Select it and...

    Auto trim in simplified mode

This came up in another thread where Dynon responded with: "have you gone through the Auto-trim configuration under SETUP > HARDWARE CALIBRATION > TRIM MOTOR CONFIGURATION?"

    Biennial Pitot/Static check procedure

I found this via search. Available via SETUP MENU > HARDWARE CALIBRATION > ADAHRS CALIBRATION > PITOT / STATIC TEST MODE"

    Servo/network cable difference

The installation guide says the power/ground should be 20 gauge for the servos, while the rest can presumably be 22 gauge, so it should be fine for network cabling. On the other hand, I don't think the servo harness uses all 9 pins/wires.

    Connect IFLY740 to D10A

John, The FOT would meet the requirements of a shared ground.

    Fluctuating tacho reading

Check all the plugs and wires to make sure they meet resistance requirements. A plug that has too high resistance can cause the mag coil to fail prematurely. Not sure what it would cause relative to the tach, though.

    Fluctuating tacho reading

As you may already know, the EMS will use the reading from the first mag it senses, BTW. If you turn off the one that fluctuates, it should go to the steady one and remain there. How many hours on the mags? Is the shielding terminated at the magneto end or switch end?

    ADAHRS mounting

The main concern is that anything ferous is not moving around once you calibrate the compass within the ADAHRS unit. Hence the reason we put them in the tail cone in most RVs. Some have reported issues when no passenger is along and the seat belt cable moves around. One fix for that is to clamp...

Garmin GNC 255 VOR display on Skyview ?

According to the Q&A tab on the Aircraft Spruce site, it can. Will these radios integrate with the Dynon 180 like the SL 30 model does? Yes, the GNC series will still output the NAV like the older SL 30 units. http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/avpages/garmingnc225ab.php

    Flowmeter wiring Plugs

I used these from Aircraft Spruce to connect the Red Cube to the Dynon EMS wires. Stager and put a piece of heat shrink over them. http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/inpages/eioverlapolc-1-10-05470.php?clickkey=6555 If you want to use the tab type, ACS has those too...

    SV-GPS-250 plus SV-GPS-2020?

You can install both antennas (I did in my RV-7A). If you have two screens, you will need to wire both antennas to both screens. I asked a few months back if it was ok to splice the power and ground from each screen to both GPS pucks (the manual contradicts itself here) and have not yet...

    Audible alert on low Airspeed

I'm with Steve. AOA is what you really want and it is not expensive to add to an existing Dynon system. Some have used a simple aluminum rivet (hole in the center) with great success.

    Static Port Installation

As rvator51 eluded, a thin scraper (aka razor blade) should do the trick.

Servos no longer in the network

That voltage is very low. The AP servos must be fed 12v from ships power; they cannot be powered from the network.

    ADS-B FAA Compliance Report

I think the requirement for a certified shop only applies to certified (or is it certificated?) aircraft. Like you said, if you already have Dynon equipment, going with the Trig 22 and GPS-2020 is a logical choice but won't get you the rebate.
