C172 Autopilot Slow Gentle Oscillations in Roll

Did you check that somebody has not managed to break the shear screw. Sometimes they can break and still have enough grip to provide "some" control. Just a thought.

    EMS D10 Alternator Fail Warning

The VP-X takes out the other avionics by shouting them down with a short circuit fault. The VP-X is more diagnostic than anyone realises :)

SkyView HDX and IFD 540 OBS configuration RV 10

OBS mode should have you changing the course on the Skyview knob, this is then sent to the IFD. Works perfectly.

C172 Autopilot Slow Gentle Oscillations in Roll

What are the settings. Where is the AP servo linkage connected? (On the arm there are three holes. Is it on the outer most hole? Talk to the installer about this. It needs to be in as far as possible without going over centre.

Roll tracking - Track vs GSS

That is likely to be me :) Few things to look into; 1. Make sure your AP roll servo is connected with the centre hole, not the outer one, and never the inner one. 2. Settings as follows; Torque 100% Sensitivity 16 Roll Gain 0.3 Bank Angle Limit 27 Pitch I assume is an SV42T, if not, change...

Engaging AP - Expert Mode using AP Panel - Engage then Disengages

Try a different pushing the button style....i.e. your way of doing it. You might be bouncing the button. If it was faulty I would expect it to randomly affect you at other times.

    EMS Trim Servo Connection

Q1 No, you must use 5v (WHT/RED) Q2 Use a butt splice somewhere and run what you need. Q3 The data is transferred from the VPX But I am confused by your question. You say it is going to the VPX yet you are talking about the SV-EMS220 wiring. You need to use one not both. My suggestion is use...

I can not get my Garmin 430 to interface with my SV 1000.

As Raymo has said.....most likely a config problem. Dynon publish very explicit wiring and config instructions. I have never had an installation not work. That includes the following, GNS530W, GNS430, GTN750, GTN650, GPS175, IFD540 and multiples of some. There are only a few connections and a...

Jeppesen Vs AV Plan Nav Data for Dynon HDX in Australia

Yes.....if using your plane IFR, you will need the IFD loaded with Jepps. We do this with the GTN750.

    AP Panel Issue

This is a known fault. I first discovered it a few years ago. Dynon found a random manufacture error in some units. Email the tech support folk support@dynonavionics.com and request a replacement and an RMA number. Do not waste any more time on it.

Check wiring and check the setup in the G430 as well as the SV Arinc settings.

Jeppesen Vs AV Plan Nav Data for Dynon HDX in Australia

Been doing this IFR in our RV10 for 11 years....... I also made the AvPlan-Dynon connection happen back in 2014, so I do have some in depth exposure. We dropped Jepp and adopted AvPlan back in 2012(I think), then went to SV charts in 2014 naturally. So far I have not come across anything...

Feeling servo's when a/p is off

Yes, and you are feeling the magnetic pulse in the stepper motor. You will not feel a thing in flight. So relax.....more fun ahead! :)

    SV-MAG-236 Pinouts

It uses the SV Network cable which has two pairs plus 2x power and ground. The pin that it issued for the EMS is not required. Read the manual and you can see which is which. If it is that much of a problem find another location.
