SV Comm issue, Flickering of RX

It sounds like some RF noise is above the Dynon COM's receiving threshold. Have you tried adjusting the radio squelch under SYSTEM SETUP > COM RADIO SETUP > SQUELCH LEVEL?

    ADS-B FAA Compliance Report

I think you're talking to our support team as well, but to answer publicly as well: We don't have an immediate explanation. We're pretty sure we didn't change anything on the way that the SV-GPS-250 is processed. Keep in mind that the SV-GPS-250 - no matter how good the lock is at any moment...

    SkyView update

You only need 4.0 to use the quick update packages. You can still update by downloading all of the files that we package up individually. Basically start here instead of at the very top of the page. Once you've updated once like this, you'll be able to do future updates using the single file method.

SV 1000 operation with no XPNDR-261 installed

I can't find an installation manual for that new model, but if it's like the 330, and can output TIS traffic vis a serial port, you could then hook it to SkyView and be able to see TIS traffic on SkyView when ADS-B isn't reporting a full traffic portrait. See the discussion of traffic receiver...

    Dynon GPS integration

Yep - the SV-XPNDR-261 + SV-GPS-2020 (or another compliant GPS source, like a Avidyne IFD series, or Garmin 430W, GTN, etc) are 2020-compliant installations.

NEW: SkyView HDX - The Premier SkyView Experience

So the above numbers are correct on the LCD viewable area. And the outer dimensions on both in the panel planner are right. The picture of the screen on the panel planner is a bit optimistic though. It turns out we went to print with the brochures before we had drawings available (and conforming...

NEW: SkyView HDX - The Premier SkyView Experience

Looking into it. We may have a scaling error in the catalog (they're not templates, by the way. Please don't cut your panel to them)

    Checklist

There are a few ways. There is a downloadable example that you can modify here if you're a technical type: http://dynonavionics.com/docs/support_software_choice.html But also, on that same page, there is also a downloadable excel-based "program" (smart spreadsheet) that will generate checklists...

SkyView system on two engine plane

For dual-engine installations, you'll need two displays, as you say at the end of your question. Each EMS module - and all of that engine's information - is then shown on each display. There isn't a way to combine show them both on one screen.

    ADS-B Out Double Target

Those picture links aren't working, but you're running older transponder software that needs to be updated to talk properly to the latest version of the ADS-B system's software. To do that, make sure to use our installation manual at docs.dynonavionics.com for the full instructions, but the...

    WiFi connect

ForeFlight can not right now - as of their current version -  receive traffic and weather from SkyView. SkyView can not send it either right this second. But, as the Seattle Avionics email says, our upcoming version 15 will support this general capability, and FlyQ has their app support ready...

    Dynon GPS integration

So the D100/D120 do not have much integration with SkyView, in part because most people have historically upgraded the whole panel (and so there hasn't been much demand for this), and in part because of the architectural differences. Your SkyView needs an SV-ADAHRS-200 for its primarly flight...

Dynon Announcement: Limited time trade-in rebate

Do you have a D10/D100 series equipped aircraft that you've been thinking about upgrading to a SkyView or an AF-5000 series system? Or perhaps you are thinking about your 2020 ADS-B Out compliance plan... We’re thanking our D10/D100 series customers with a limited time offer: Upgrade to a new...

    Autopilot Software Design

The calibration does two things: 1) determines the correct direction of the servo motors and 2) ensures that the throw is reasonable. If it sees more than about 70 degrees of throw during calibration you'll see a warning / question on whether it's a capstan-equipped servo (which can rotate more...

    Firmware 5.6.1

There hasn't been any change to the way the fuel flow signal is sensed. Sounds like a coincidence, as you suspect. One other thing to check is whether something happened to the signal wire that goes from the red cube to the 37 pin harness.

    Replaced Transponder, Lost Auto-Pilot

Hi Jack - Configuration problems like this one are probably best gone through with our technical support team directly. But the autopilot setup will not be available if for some reason, the system does not think that the servos have been calibrated under the hardware calibration menu. Has...

    Dynon Knobs Issue

I can't say we've heard of that happening really. Give our technical support team a call at 425-402-0433 or an email at support at dynonavionics dot com and we can get you replacements though.
