    I believe it is possible to split the ARINC signals, as long as both receivers are listening for the same baud rate and protocol.

    Look a little harder... Page 7-33 lists the flap position potentiometer on pin 12. Pin 12 is an general purpose input, per page 7-16 (type A). Per page 7-15, any available type A, B or C can be used for your throttle pot.

    It doesn't matter, which is why it is typically on the inside and hidden from site. I'm with Jake, install RG-400 and KNOW that it is not the problem.

    Have you looked in the SV installation manual? Chapter 7 has all the EMS related information you'll need. If not directly addressed, it can be added similar to a flap or trim position function.

    You can change the layout in the menu and can set it to 40/60, 60/40 or 50/50 with two options selected.

    The one second interval could be related to your transponder. There have been cases where the transponder output was being picked up by the ELT, which has a buzzer. Try pulling the transponder fuse/breaker and see if the noise goes away.

    As already mentioned, the EMS widgets across the bottom but also the map is decluttered with the use of a side bar for the information that clutters the legacy screen map. Also, the higher resolution is quite nice. In general, you get more viability to the PFD and map, IMO.

    I'm surprised the SV Touch (classic) is still available to purchase. Maybe they had a bunch on the shelf and are slowly selling them to folks that want to save a few bucks over the HDX. I hope to upgrade to HDX sometime in the next year and will be selling my classic screens to the highest bidder.

    Dominique, I have a SV system but imagine it is the same. Hook up a charger to your battery and turn the D180 on until the backup battery is charged.

    That data would be difficult to ascertain during flight due to other loads on the system and varying temperatures, which would result in different current draws. I believe it would pull up to 10 amps until warm enough, then will pulse on and off to maintain the temperature.
