Why on my avionics schematics does it say to use shielded wire on all serial lines (and ground the shield at both ends), but on the SkyView the wires are not shielded? Does it matter?

I used stainless steel threaded studs from Grainger to mount my dual adhars. If you search this group for rv-10 and adhars you should find the thread with pictures. -Mike Kraus

Oh, and by the way, be sure to hook your GPS up to both displays. Then if one fails, it will still send the signal to the other.

My understanding is that the network will work through the displays even if the are off or fail. I'm sure someone from Dynon will read this and confirm, but I asked the same question about redundancy when I planned my system and they stated even a failed EFIS will still pass the network signal...

This weekend I wired up my tach inputs from the left mag and right Lightspeed ignition and I was looking for where we set the PPM. I could not find it in the install manual nor by flipping through screens on the Skyview. I'm sure it is documented somewhere, but I could not seem to find it...

Now that we are on this topic, I think I have an issue with my oil pressure sender. I hooked up the fuel pressure sender to pin 8 as that was mapped to fuel pressure. Then I hooked up the oil pressure sender to pin 6 as it was mapped to oil pressure. The red X for the fuel pressure goes away...

I'm mid-stream in wiring up my SkyView and couldn't seem to find the autopilot disconnect on the wiring schematic/pin out tables. I was hoping to have an A/P disconnect switch on the stick. Is this a feature, and if so, what pins do I use? Thanks -Mike

So cancel your order through Spruce and re-order through Dynon. I've ordered all my stuff directly through Dynon and it all has shipped faster than they committed.

Not sure I'd be bashing Dynon at all, seems like everyone who ordered thru Dynon (ie no middle man) happily has their units.... I ordered my D10, D180, and now Skyviews directly through Dynon and have never been disappointed.... Typically with a new product launch if you want it fast, don't...

So, if we have two displays, can we hook up the transponder to both displays for backup, like the gps?
