I'm not quite seeing the whole picture here. First, which one of SkyView or the D6 do you believe to be wrong? And when you say the "PFD reads accurately", are you talking about SkyView's heading or something else? Pictures would help here if it's like that all the time.

So we can't really fathom a way that the EMS would misbehave like this in a temporary way. One test you could do is to short both signal wires together on the shunt. Does the current ever misbehave then? If so, you likely have a loose wire upstream.
