I had the same issue with my SkyView. I found the USB memory had a corrupt sector and no amount of re-formatting fixed it. I replaced it with a new USB memory and it has worked perfect since. Try a new USB memory and hopefully it will fix the problem. 8-)

More marketing involved than engineering. In most installations you won't notice any difference in performance, except to your pocketbook. 8-)

I am sorry about the loss of your friend while flying but the only way to completely reduce the risk of a mid air is DON'T FLY. ADS-B is a risk reducing piece of equipment, not a risk eliminating one and like all equipment is subject to failure. "See and avoid" is still the best collision...

That is correct. Use the CUSTOM UNIT and enter port 4000. It will link up and after about 1 minute you will see it is receiving NOTAMS, TAFs, METARS and both RADAR data on the bottom right of the  EXTERNAL page. It takes about 5 minutes to download full WX data and obviously only if within range...

I have dual DYNON 7" screens with WIFI modules on each screen. My SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S2 tablet (Android) connects quickly to my SkyView WIFI. However, FltPlanGo only displays weather (no traffic) if I use the >EXTERNAL >ADS-B DEVICES >CUSTOM UNIT with port 4000. FltPlanGo knows about this "bug"...

Sounds like the antenna is not making a good solid ground connection. Check for dirt, corrosion or something like that where the antenna connects to the airframe (assuming it is an aluminum airplane). 8-)

I had the same issue on one screen of my dual screen panel. It would keep cycling through the boot sequence and not boot up. I found that the USB drive connected to that one display was causing the problem. I tried reformatting the drive and re installing all the SA data but the problem...

FWIW: UAT is NOT an ICAO device, only for the FAA. The UAT options were added by the FAA for filing flight plans that operate only within the US. I personally am not making any changes to my ICAO equipment codes, at least for now. I hope Dynon will soon chime in and let us know what we should...

This forum is a SUPERB place for information and help. DYNON does a great job of keeping it on track. If you have a good idea, provide it as a suggestion but accept that DYNON can not implement all of them. I have to agree with others here that if SkyView doesn't do and DYNON doesn't implement...
